Standards & Frameworks
Where a project is financed by, or assessed against, an international institution, the applicable safeguard framework shapes the assessment. We work with reference to these frameworks while always complying with Tanzanian law.
Listing a framework here describes the reference points we apply. It does not imply that EDLA CONSULT is certified, accredited or endorsed by any of these organisations.
IFC Performance Standards
Lender due-diligence requirements used as a reference when clients need financing from international financial institutions.
World Bank Environmental and Social Standards
The ten ESF standards, including ESS1–ESS8, applied as a reference for safeguard requirements on financed projects.
AfDB Environmental and Social Framework
